Our Executive Team

Nick Anson serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Liggett Vector Brands, the subsidiary of Vector Group Ltd. that coordinates and executes the sales and marketing efforts for all of Vector Group’s tobacco operations. Mr. Anson is a British national who immigrated to the U.S. in 1995. He worked as a financial analyst for both Lockheed Martin and Quintiles before joining Vector Tobacco in 2001 and has served in various senior management positions since then. Most recently, Mr. Anson served as Executive Vice President, Finance & Administration and was the company’s senior financial executive since August 2013.

James Taylor leads all sales and marketing initiatives for Liggett Vector Brands and is a key participant in the development of the business strategy for the company. An Australian national, Mr. Taylor has a long history of successful management experience, brand-building skills, and strategic marketing expertise, both in the U.S. and internationally. He spent 12 years with the Philip Morris Companies, where he gained significant marketing and tobacco industry experience. Beyond several international assignments, he is a former category manager on Philip Morris USA’s Marlboro brand. He also served as a Director of Marketing at Miller Brewing Company, as a Vice President of Marketing for Labatt Breweries of Canada, and as Vice President of Marketing for Dannon, a subsidiary of Groupe Danone. In addition, Mr. Taylor served as President of Internet Services for a Boston-based technology company, Sonexis. Mr. Taylor joined Vector Tobacco as Senior Vice President – Marketing in 2001 and was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of Liggett Vector Brands LLC in 2020.

Luke Jackson is Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for Liggett Vector Brands and leads our manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams.  With over 18 years of tobacco industry experience, Mr. Jackson began his career at Philip Morris USA in Richmond, VA.  Prior to joining Liggett in 2022, Mr. Jackson spent 10 years with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston Salem, NC progressing through various levels of operations leadership in engineering, maintenance, production, and supply chain. 

As Vice President and General Counsel, Vicky Spier Evans oversees the company’s legal and regulatory activities including FDA Tobacco Control laws and regulations, Master Settlement Agreement compliance, and intellectual property matters. Ms. Evans earned her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School and joined Liggett Vector Brands in 2002 being promoted to the position of Corporate Counsel in 2004.

Steve Erikson is the Senior Vice President of Retail Sales for Liggett Vector Brands. A veteran in the tobacco industry, Mr. Erikson was previously employed by Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation where he held a variety of field sales management roles.  Since joining Liggett Vector Brands in 1995, Mr. Erikson has held a broad range of sales management positions and assumed his current leadership role in 2006.

Aaron Bailey is Vice President of National Accounts for Liggett Vector Brands. He joined our organization in October 2022 and brings almost 20 years of experience to our team. Mr. Bailey began his career at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston Salem, NC, where he progressed through increasingly more senior levels of Sales, Trade Marketing and Strategic Accounts.

Heather Fischer is the Vice President of Information Services. She is responsible for all aspects of information technology and service, including software application development, network infrastructure, cyber-security and strategic planning. Ms. Fischer has progressed through various positions of increasing responsibility since joining Liggett in 1994.
